XPX Carbon/About us

We don't manufacture products. We build solutions around your operations.

XPX Carbon exists to help businesses make better technology decisions, even when that means recommending a smaller investment.

Most energy companies start with a product and look for a facility that fits it. We start with the facility itself: what it makes, how it runs, where it wastes energy and what its supply can support. Only then is anything recommended.

Two facilities are never the same problem.

Two plants in the same industry, on the same tariff, rarely need the same answer. The difference sits in the load curve, the shift pattern, the equipment already installed and the way the team works.

The decision outlives the person who makes it.

Equipment specified this year will still be running in fifteen. That is long enough for the wrong choice to cost considerably more than it ever saved, and long enough for the right one to keep paying.

We're accountable for the recommendation.

Our accountability extends beyond the supply.

Anyone can quote equipment. What a business is really buying is the judgement behind the specification, and the willingness to stand behind it after commissioning.

Meet the founders.

One founder from the market side and one from the plant floor, because most decisions need both.

Abhishek Menon

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Abhishek Menon founded XPX Carbon on a simple belief — that businesses deserve technology decisions driven by long-term value rather than short-term sales. Where many solution providers focus on selling equipment, his intent is to help organisations invest in technologies that improve operational efficiency, reduce energy waste and create measurable business impact.

With a background in brand building, business strategy and market development, Abhishek focuses on understanding a client's operational challenges before recommending any solution. His approach is built around partnership, transparency and lasting business relationships rather than one-time transactions.

At XPX Carbon he leads business strategy, customer relationships, partnerships and market expansion, with the goal of building one of India's most trusted commercial energy solution companies.

Mohan Menon

Managing Director

With decades of hands-on experience across industrial operations and manufacturing environments, Mohan Menon brings the practical knowledge that forms the operational backbone of XPX Carbon.

Having worked closely with production facilities, plant operations and commercial kitchens throughout his career, he understands the day-to-day realities businesses face when adopting new technology. That experience is what keeps every solution XPX Carbon recommends practical, reliable and suited to real operating requirements.

As Managing Director he oversees business operations, implementation support, partner coordination and customer success — making sure every project is executed with precision and built to last.

How do we work?

Six commitments, and the first one explains the rest.

  • We don't manufacture products.

This means we have no product to defend, so the recommendation follows your operation rather than an inventory position.

  • We measure before we specify.

Consumption data, load curves and site conditions come first, because a proposal written without them is only an estimate.

  • We optimise before we replace.

There is little sense in generating clean power to feed a system that wastes a share of it. The cheapest project usually involves equipment you already own.

  • We'll tell you when to wait.

If a technology is not ready for your operation, we will say so. Waiting protects your capital better than a pilot project that fails to deliver.

  • We hand over a decision, not a document.

Every recommendation carries an investment figure, an expected return and an honest statement of how confident we are in it.

  • We stay after commissioning.

Equipment specified this year will still be running in fifteen years. Performance is measured against what we promised at the start.

We're not here to sell you equipment.
We're here to help you make the right decision before you buy any.

What do we work on?

Two areas to begin with, and most projects end up touching both of them.
