What we collect when you write to us, what we do with it, who else sees it, and how to ask us to stop. Written to be read, not scrolled past. Last updated 16 September 2026.
This site exists to start a conversation about your energy bill. To have that conversation we need a few things from you, and this page sets out what happens to them. It applies to xpxcarbon.com and to anything you send us by email, phone or the contact form.
XPX Carbon, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We are the data fiduciary for the personal information described on this page, in the sense of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can reach us at hello@xpxcarbon.com or +91 97269 20010.
What you give us. When you use the contact form or write to us, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number, the district you are in, what you are interested in, and whatever you tell us about the operation you want to improve. If the conversation goes further, we usually ask for electricity bills, cylinder invoices, load details, hours and drawings, because we size systems from consumption rather than from a catalogue. Send only what you are comfortable sending; we will ask for anything we are missing.
What the site records on its own. Nothing. This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Two things load from other companies’ servers when a page opens: the Figtree typeface from Google Fonts, and a scrolling library from jsDelivr. Those servers see your IP address and browser type in the ordinary way, under their own privacy policies. If we add analytics later, it will be named here first.
The contact form. What you type into the form is sent to a small program on our website host, Vercel, which passes it to Resend, an email delivery service, which delivers it to our inbox as an ordinary email. Neither Vercel nor Resend uses it for anything else; Resend keeps a delivery log for a short period in the ordinary way, under its own privacy policy. We do not store form submissions anywhere other than our email.
To answer you, to model your kitchen, to prepare and follow up a proposal, and to run a project once you have said yes. We may write to you about the enquiry you made. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not use them for advertising. If you would rather we stopped writing, say so and we stop.
The people at XPX Carbon working on your enquiry. The companies that host our email and this website, which is served by Vercel, and Resend, which carries form submissions to our inbox. Installers and partners on your project, for that project only and only what they need to do their part. Nobody else, unless the law requires it or you ask us to share it, for instance with your lender or your auditor.
For the length of the enquiry and up to two years after our last exchange, so that a conversation that pauses can pick up where it left off. Records of a project that went ahead, including the consumption data behind its proposal and its metered results, for as long as Indian tax and company law require us to keep the accounts they belong to. Ask us to delete an enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are obliged to keep a record of it.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to hello@xpxcarbon.com with “Privacy” in the subject line and we will reply within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can take a grievance to the Data Protection Board of India.
Your information lives in our email and file systems, which are protected by passwords and two-factor sign-in, and access is limited to the people who need it. This website is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect; if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the Board as the law requires.
This site and our services are for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say so plainly here, and we will not apply it to information we already hold without telling the people it belongs to.
