About the Ground-Mounted Solar

  • Modules sit at the optimum tilt rather than the roof's angle, which lifts annual yield per panel above an equivalent rooftop plant.
  • Cleaning, inspection and string replacement happen at ground level, so operations and maintenance cost less over the plant's life.
  • Civil work, foundations, fencing and cable trenching make the capital cost per kWp higher than rooftop, and the payback comes from yield and lifespan.
  • Land use has to be agreed early. It is the one input that cannot be revised after the layout is fixed.
